So here it is the first “How To” for those of you using the Joomla CMS on Bachost. You'll have to excuse me if these how to's tend to include ever boring detail I can think of, I want to make sure that I cover ever step for what ever it is that the how to covers.
This first how to is about how to create what are called “Static Pages” in Joomla, I'm using Joomla 1.0.15 in these example because they are the most common that my clients use. Perhaps at some later date I will do the same for Joomla 1.5.
OK, sorry for the mess up, logins for the main site are now fixed, even tested!
You should have received an email from the system with your user name and password, if not email me back and I'll help you out.
If you ever lose your password, or forget your main user name just remember that your email address is owner@YOURSITEURL and your user name is YOURSITEURL (without the .com, .net, or .org etc)
I have added a help ticket system to the site, so if something is wrong with your site, or you want me to deal with something related to your site, please create a ticket there. I get swamped with stuff to do on the sites, and this is the best way for me to keep track of what I have to next.
If you have a different webmaster other then me, I can also add them into the help ticket system so they can use the same system as me. In fact if you have any administrators you would like added to the help tick system, let me know their user name (anyone can register now), and for which site, and I'll add them in.
The help ticket system has categories based on the sites URLs, please keep the tickets organized, this helps me a lot.
One other thing, I've added a component called Community Builder to the main site, this allows you to set up a profile, change your PayPal account information, etc. After you login there is a new menu item, called "Your Account Info" which allows you to update your pro.
New logins for clients to this site for help forum and tickets. Your usernames are now the same as your site name (including the dot com, dot net etc) and your current email address for your user accounts are now

UPDATE: WED, July 2, 2008
The previous usernames seem to have incountered an error, and no-one was able to login. I have changed them by dropping the ".com" (or .net .org etc)
All clients that have hosting here get a set of email accounts. The fine details are not written in stone, but generally they work out like this. Each site owner has a standard email forwarder called “owner” (
